All White R&B Rooftop tickets are live. July 25 at the Hyatt. Here's your week.
July 2nd to July 8th, 2026 ยท The Bay, Simplified
Independence Day is tomorrow and it lands on the country's 250th birthday. Tampa Bay has four major July 4 celebrations spread across three cities, all of them free except Freedom Fest at the American Victory Ship on Channelside. The centerpiece is Liberty by the Bay at Julian B. Lane Park, a city-hosted event built around a 250-drone light show over the Hillsborough River at 9 PM. The show was designed specifically for America's semiquincentennial and nothing like it has been staged on the Hillsborough before. Clearwater opens its two-day festival at Coachman Park tonight, with what the city is calling the biggest fireworks display in Clearwater history tomorrow. The St. Pete Pier runs ten hours tomorrow with Uncle Sam's Market, live music, and their own fireworks show at 9 PM. The World Cup is in its knockout rounds and there is a free watch party this afternoon at the Sail Plaza outside the Convention Center for Argentina versus Cape Verde. The Midtown Tampa Sunset Market ran last night with forty-plus local vendors and no line. Two new spots have opened in the Bay area this summer that most people still have not found. Full breakdown below.
